From Rochechouart’s Romanesque church and its torso arrow to its 13th century castle, launch on this unusual Terra Aventura trail where contemporary art meets the Middle Ages. The town proudly overlooks the valley from its rocky spur, highlighting the region’s built heritage as well as something quite peculiar : a meteorite crashed here about 200 million years ago !

On the ground, in front of the Meteorite museum, count how many different rocks were formed when the meteorite crashed here. |

Enter the meteorite museum to find out more about the meteorite crash that occurred here about 200 million years ago... Over time, the smaller rocks resulting from the meteorite’s fusion were used to build Rochechouart’s fabulous heritage. |
3. The Castle (N 45°49,305’ / E 000°49,139’)

« The Viscounts’ castle in Rochechouart reflects how mighty its builders were. The castle was only occupied for a few years then was transformed, becoming more “comfortable”. Today it houses the Haute-Vienne Contemporary Art Museum. » |

Bonjour, nous avons trouvée la cache hier en fin d'aprém, mais dans la cache il n'y avait plus de carnet !! Donc nous n'avons pas eu le mot mystère !! Quel déception... nous avons donc téléphoner à l'office pour les prévenir !!

Les membres de l'équipe Threepwood qui n'avaient pas participé à la cache "astroquête" la 1ère fois sont allés faire un petit tour du côté de Rochechouart afin de récupérer le mot mystère sur lequel nous avions visiblement une erreur (ah bon ?) Z'ont réussi en tout cas ! Bravo ! :D

Après une matinée à la recherche de Zépapeur sur les bords de Glane par 39°, l'énigme résolue a failli tourner mal à cause d'un GPS qui ne donnait qu'une position erronée. Merci à l'OT qui m'a donné un petit coup de pouce pour qu'une Zabeth de plus rejoigne la collection. Trouvé deux objets voyageurs : à peine pris, aussitôt repartis pour de nouvelles aventures dès ce soir.

Belle ballade dans la capitale du pays de la météorite... Zabeth toujours aussi férue d'histoire, bien cachée au fond de ce qui encercle le château qui a vue mourir Richard Cœur de Lion. Mais chuut : Z'en ai trop dit. Une bonne mise en jambe avant de partir à la recherche de Zépapeur dans les pas de Corot.

Pas de souci pour cette cache, certainement la plus courte en marche à pied de toutes celles que nous avons faites jusque là, mais que nous avons quand même bien appréciée :) Difficile de rester discrets pour sortir la boîte, se loguer et la remettre en place étant donné le passage de nombreux moldus... il a fallu patienter, mais personne ne nous a vu ! TFTC

L'explication del'etape 2 ne nous a pas permis de trouver le bon chiffre ( pas assez precise) nous avons fini par deduction par trouver ou chercher le tresor... Mais il a du disparaitre, ns sommes revenus bredouilles. Il etait difficile de se connecter sur placeau site pr voir les commentaires : reseau tres lent, dommge, ca ns aurait permis de gagner du tps

Dans la foulée d'Aixe sur Vienne, après on bon petit resto à la tombée de la nuit, nous n'avons pas pu entrer dans le chateau :(( La quête a été résolue par déduction et nous avons trouvé Zabeth dans ses murs passablement dénudée (rien ne masquait la cache). nous avons pris soin de la couvrir avant de partir pour qu'elle n'attrappe pas froid ! In : voiture violette de cars / Out : Zabeth

Ballade sympathique et reposante après celle de Zépapeur. Par contre attention, la cour du château n'est pas accessible en continue, nous avons trouvé porte close à 18h. Ceci dit nous avons débusquée la cache sans cet indice. Très joli chateau!

Attention aux approximations de GPS à proximité d'un monument ! C'est en fait là qu'est la difficulté de cette cache... mais on l'a eue !

il y a foule de moldus pour le championnat de france cyclisme dur dur de se garer mais nous y arrivons tout de meme , le parcours se fait sans entraves ( merci pour le detour point de vue) puis la cache au point gps trouvé sans encombre au milieu des moldus mais a l'écart des regards !! la boiboite est pleine de sucrerie et de Zabeth .

Enfin trouvée nous sommes allés trois à Rochechouart cache très difficile à trouver et coordonnées de la cache ne sont pas totalement exactes (on tombe dans le donjon) . Quel joli bourg. A renouveler.

des murs des murs .. nous avions pourtant les bonnes coordonnées mais les Moldus ont dû s'emparer du trésor .. les petits pirates sont décus mais cela nous a permis d'échanger avec une autre famille de geocacheur qui comme nous sont rentrés bredouilles !
